Scholarship

The Profusion Scholarship Award Program was created to support students who are affected by bleeding disorders. The scholarship is designed to ease the financial challenges of pursuing higher education while inspiring students to strive towards their academic and career goals.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Applicants must be diagnosed with a bleeding disorder OR have an immediate family member diagnosed with a bleeding disorder (Hemophilia A + B/ VWD, and other bleeding disorders)
  • Be currently enrolled in an accredited trade school, community college, or a four-year university.
  • Maintain a minimum GPA of 2.5.
  • Submit a scholarship application form
  • Submit a personal statement
  • Submit proof of enrollment

Scholarship Award Details

  • Up to $1,000 award
  • Scholarship funds may be used for tuition, books, or other educational expenses
  • Students are eligible to apply once each academic year

– Personal statement (400-600 words) describing how your bleeding disorder (or your immediate family member’s bleeding disorder) has affected you and your family and how did those experiences influence your academic goals.

Proof of Enrollment

Please upload documentation verifying your current enrollment in an accredited educational institution. Examples of acceptable proof of enrollment include a current class schedule, enrollment verification letter, official or unofficial transcript, tuition statement, student portal screenshot showing current enrollment status, or an acceptance letter for incoming students. Documents must clearly display the student's name, school name, and the current academic term or enrollment period.
